Recent Updates
July 13th, 2008:
Ok, all four Dreamcast projects are locally hosted now. Check their respective Information pages for individual updates. Feel free to spread the word on these, in an attempt to sway people from the old versions that are still circulating on torrent networks, and the like.
July 10th, 2008:
Finally made a preview video for the Tony Hawk mix. I'm thinking about updating all 4 mixes so that they will work in emulators, since I've recieved hundreds of complaints over the last 2-3 years that they do not. That was my intention, but since Dreamcasts are starting to get harder to find, I'll oblige. I'll also host the projects locally. No more torrents or ad-sponsered free hosts.
May 23rd, 2008:
New video editing project completed, sorta. Not a lot of effort on this one, but it's something different for once. Here ya go.
April 22nd, 2008:
Demonoid returned, and with it, a few of my torrents for the old projects. I've relinked some, and uploaded others to a free host, so for the time being, everything on the site should be downloadable again.
February 28th, 2008:
I updated the anti-leech script for the site to the newest version. It should support resumable downloads now. If there are any issues, please leave post about it on the forum. You can even be annonymous.
November 22nd, 2007:
I started a Destructoid blog over here. No real goals with this. Just messing around.
November 12th, 2007:
In a tragic turn of events, Demonoid has been shut down. Not only was it one of my favorite torrent databases, but it also served as the tracker for my Dreamcast remix projects, which were still alive and going strong. The tracker itself is still running, but probably not for long. The Tony Hawk 2 project has a new host now, and when the tracker dies, I'll try to post the other 3 projects to new hosts.
Also, the O.M.M. series has been shifted to tri-weekly.
October 1st, 2007:
Not a lot going on. I've been busy with other things. However, I have been fixing or updating minor aspects of the site here or there like links, history, stat tracking. Oh, and the navigation banner has been letting the text clip into the dividing bar if you used a larger text size, or if you were using a Mac or Linux setup with different fonts. Hopefully, it should display properly now, if it was not before.
September 3rd, 2007:
I've begun doing a bi-weekly front page feature over at Racketboy's. My new O.M.M. series will continuously be listed here.
August 22nd, 2007:
A helpful viewer of the site alerted me to a forum issue. Apparently it hasn't allowed guest posting or registration ever since the server move. This should be fixed now.
July 15th, 2007:
The site was down for a few days, while I changed some settings on my domain name. The domain should now be fully functional with my new host, and from here on I merely have to re-upload all the videos and albums, and we should be totally back up to speed. These will be periodically added with no notice, so if what you want isn't upload yet, just try back later.
Edit: All content should be back online as of now.
July 5th, 2007:
I'm in the process of changing servers. Mightor Industries is now hosting me, just like old times. Random portions of the site may be broken. Also, the direct downloads for the videos and music rips are down, and will be for a while. The forum appears to have survived the transfer, but it could still have some issues lurking. If you find any, feel free to post them. Another thing worth noting is that the domain name is currently using a forward and a mask. This means that the address bar will appear stuck, no matter what page you are on within the site. This should only be temporary.
May 26th, 2007:
Yet another Blizzard game music rip. Here's Diablo 2 + Lord of Destruction.
May 22nd, 2007:
So while the whole planet shook with the announce of StarCraft 2, I remain uninterested due to my complete lack of love for the RTS genre. Regardless, I know good music when I hear it, so I've gone back and ripped the soundtrack from the original StarCraft myself after failing to find an existing rip that meets my standards. Enjoy!
March 15th, 2007:
I finally got around to converting all my featured album rips into single ZIP archives. Now it will be much easier for you guys to download them.
March 14th, 2007:
And another rip. It's Alien Front Online. I've been putting my Dreamcast serial cable to good use lately.
February 11th, 2007:
So, I never seem to work on the site anymore. I feel guilty. Take another soundtrack rip. It's San Francisco Rush 2049 for the Dreamcast. From now on, I am simply hosting the rips in singular ZIP files. It's just too much of a hassle to type up the BBCode for dozens of anti-leeched MP3s. It's much easier this way, and I'll never even hit 1/4th of my bandwidth limit, anyway. I'll probably go back and do the other rips this way, too.
