This contains every unique track that exists in the unmodified G.O.T.Y. version of UT '99, with the final patch applied. I say "unique", because two tracks had secondary "remixed" versions as well, but I listened to them, and if they were different at all from the originals, then it was in some extremely minor way, so I considered them duplicates.

I used the UMX WinAmp plugin to convert the game's raw music to wav. The UMX plugin was set to it's highest possible settings before the conversion. All tracks were normalized, before being converted to APS MP3s, as usual. In fact, these MP3s sound better then the music in the game, though that might just be due to some DirectX9 incompatibility with this old game on my system. I can't say for sure.

There's no official track order or track titles out there since the game never had it's own true soundtrack CD. Track names were gathered based on the original filename, the file's info header, and sometimes through online research. The order of the tracks roughly follows the order which you hear them when you play the single player campaign. For example, you play through all the Deathmatches, then Domination, then Capture the Flag, then Assault, then finally Challange.

Tracks 23-26 do not play during the single player tournament however. They are played on other maps which can be found in Practice mode. Track 26 "Organic" sounded most appropriate as an intense last stage, so I ordered it as such.

Thank you so much for these music rips. Unfortunatly every time I try to download a large file from your site (like this or the smash bros sound rip) my download fails at about 33%. Do you have any of your files on mirror sites or other filehosting sites? I might have more luck that way.

As with the dozen other people who ask it, I don't know what to tell you. Just try again, or try with a different browser. I use firefox, and I never seem to have this issue.

I got the Collector's Edition of Unreal. It came with "the best of Unreal" music. It span from Unreal to Unreal 2004. Hopefully I can still get my hands on this.

I have that disc, too. It's a pretty decent starter pack of Unreal tunes.
