This is the Tenchu Complete Soundtrack. It contains the original 12 tracks from the official soundtrack disc, as well as the remaining songs which were not included. Everything was digitally ripped and normalized. The original 12 tracks remain untouched, however track names have been changed for the new format. There are still some short pieces of music in the game, but they cannot be ripped without also including the voices of Onikage and the narrator. This is one of the greatest soundtracks to have ever been applied to a video game. I hope you enjoy this improved set.

much thanks to you sir, i like your ways, you do alot things i would do myself if had the chance/oppurtunity, and iv notice you dont like the new stuff like new anime they dont have the artisticness that the old drawings have, most new anime look like unskilled kiddys drew them right, all these things i find you have in common with me so its just 'cool' to thank you for uploading these tenchu songs plus im 21 too if i assume correct that you are 21 too hehe

i am making a game for fun and i want to remake tenchu alongside many other classic games, i was thinking maybe you can provide some audio from tenchu stealth assasins if possible, this game is a simple mod using the source engine and its for personal use only, if you cant/wont i understand, we all have things we must do hehe

What kind of audio? Tell me where to start. Or if you have a copy of the game, I'll give you what you need to rip the audio.

hey there, sry i forgot this site's address and my internet connection is bad lately

remember the audio section where you can test the sounds? i would like those sounds along with any other ingame sound so that i can use them in my revision of tenchu

I'm scoping out the disc contents. I'll come back when I figure out where the sound effects are and how to extract them.

Edit: Ok, I used PSound to rip every detected sound effect within the file called DATA.VOL. The disc structure is very simple, and I doubt any sound effects are stored in any other file. I don't make any promisses though.

Note that PSound is bad at Hz detection. If any of the sound effects play at half speed, then simply adjust their Hz to 22050. That will fix it. Most sound effects in the game are 11025, but there are some short voice clips and ambient noise that used 22050.

I have kept them all as uncompressed wavs. They should be in the same quality which they were stored as on the game. Enjoy.

Glad I could help. Note that the vast majority of voice acting and other misc longer audio segments are stored in other parts of the disc. I didn't know if you wanted those or not. I'm not sure what your project would require.

Mogzus, thanks very much for your improved soundtrack. I was disappointed with the original because some of the tracks missing are the best ones.

Also, is it possible you could send me an invite for Underground Gamer if I PM you my email? I own the original Tenchu itself, but I'd much prefer to play it on my PC.
