I really can't believe I've never been able to find a proper rip of this game. All I've found were rips at 128KBPS CBR with the khz upscaled to 44.1 for no reason. Some of you may realize that offers zero quality enhancement and only hurts the compression effectiveness. It's always best to keep the music in its native khz, much like keeping a video clip in it's native FPS.

So in short, I extracted the original WAV music from the INSTALL.EXE off the disc, which was actually an MPQ file in disguise. The very last track was part of the game's expansion, Brood War. There didn't appear to be any other tracks on Brood War which were not duplicates. I took the liberty of amplifying some of the more quiet tracks, and also applying fade-outs and fade-ins when needed.
