been editing since 03, had a few completed vids over the years. Way 2 many uncompleted projects, but getting back into it now that. workin on a vid ATM if i can find someplace to U/L it other than YT i shall and shall inform yea all.

It was good. The song works. Most of the midsection felt a little sloppy, with no real direction. It opens and closes well though. I've never heard the song or seen the show, so I can't say if there's anything deep here that you've pulled off.

i will admit if you havent seen the movie the vid might not make sense. the basic premise is that the robot guy, briarios was 'cloned' in a twisted supersoldier concept and tarious was made (the other guy in most of the vid) and they both love duenen and envy what the other has. briarios has duenens real love for tarious, and tarious has a flesh body & what he lost with the flesh body for beiarious. and duenen spends a lot of time trying to figure out which of them she truly loves and where they fit into her love life and her work life both at the same time. As well as a sinister corporation that is trying to take over the world with a uber advanced bluetooth headset kind of device. i played off of the love triangle concept in the amv with the chorus of the music "i dont know whats real without you... and ... how can i exist without you" so that is the direction i went with throughout the vid as well as attempting to make an overall beginning to end trailer for the movie. i hope that helps some.


you say the midsection felt sloppy. how so? i didnt want to mess with a lot of effects or transitions seing as its been a few years since id actualy completed a vid so i went with simple. but there are a few areas throughout the entire vid that im not 100% satisfied with, like briarios hacking into the terminal 1:16-1:20ish as well as the rooftop scene before it zooms out to show the planet. there is a lot going on in the movie in whole that i tried to tie into and without seing the movie it would seem out of context or meaningless. im possibly going to go over the parts where i dont have fades in place and see if i can make those parts a little more smooth feeling. i however did not attempt to do any real lip synching, if your paying close attention at 2:56ish tarious appears to sych with 'i stared into this mirror',,, that was completely on accident - but it looked nice i tihink so i kept it.

When I review videos, I tend to piss people off, so I don't really do it anymore. But you came to my little forum and asked, so I did. I just think that for the 3 minute period in the middle of the video, there was not enough editing. It seems like the song was changing pace, while the editing was not. The most energetic peaks of the song were accompanied by some character standing still.
