hey there everybody. as you can see in my signature that i have been editing since 2003. well due to a rather unfortunate STRING of systematic repetitive system crashes, HD crashes, and just being plain stupid and forgetting to backup what ive made in the past before i reformat for a clean OS install, i am no longer in possession of some of my old videos that i had produced from the early days of my editing existance. i am requesting help in reclaiming what was once mine and is now lost to the anals of self indulgent stupidity.... please help me find my old videos!!!!! now for the BG info on said subject matter.

i have gone by a few different names over the years of my digital live. they are (most used to least used) but may not be limited to... Loquid, Loquids, LordKaneda, Hellsmelt, Krouw, Thefreakscrapper... now the only alias that i EVER recal stamping onto a AMV or ever will for that fact unless some AH has stolen my handle. is LordKaneda with or without spaces or with "-" or "_" inbetween the Lord and Kaneda.

OK. i am looking for 3 AMV's. i have always tried to keep my intro the same or close to the same so that i could maintain my 'identity' it is a hand drawn pic of kaneda on his trademark red superbike. done in colored pencil, with my "Lord Kaneda" the Footage title and Song title overlayed above the pic of kaneda on his bike. with audio playing in the background from then intro of "the bloodhound gang: the inevitable return of the great white dope" "A is for apple B is for balloons C is for crayons D is for Drum"

1st and oldes is a DBZ video done to Ailien and Farm's remake of Smooth Criminal. most of the video was hacked out of other AMV that i had DL's off of P2P progs so the video quality really did blow big, i knew it but it was my first and i just did it to prove to my buddies that even an uber noob could do better than some of the people that had supposedly been dooing them for years could do. (steve and OV member excluded of course the Akira/gravity kills amv got me hooked BTW)

2nd was my second vid is one that i did all the video ripping myself so the vid qual was much better. it is Akira done to Korn lets get this party started, if you have seen this vid in the past you will probably remember it due to how i set the vid to the music. kaneda and tetsuo are constantly shouting at eachother in the movie so i played on this in the vid. i had them shouting / lipsynching to the lyrics "lets get this party started... etc..."


3rd.. for the life of my in the process of describing the first 2 vids i have drawn a complete blank as to my 3rd video... i blame my ADD/ADHDD, as well as how long its been. and the fact that my HD crashed like a week or 2 after completing it.. IF AND WHEN i can remember the particulars of this video i WILL update this thread. BUT it will have the same intro as desribed for the previeous 2 vids.


some of you might think why didnt you back them up on dvd or cd or put them on AMV.org. well it boils down to this. i have never had good luck burning my own stuff onto cd or dvd. ill burn the disk and hand it off to someone for use and it wont work on their system, either not finalized or bad sectors or whatever it is. then i check the disk on my system again and it worked perfect so i pretty much gave up with optical disks. and as far as AMV.org OR ANY other web based hosting site i have never had the luxury of useing one of those due to $ issues or the fact that they would normally want and have strange requirements that i would never agree too.so thus i am now in the position i am in now.

SO if any of you have one of these videos please provide a link to somewhere that i may reobtain them for my colection. i am asking you all for help because i want to remaster them in better quality video and adjust timeing and FX as needed. if you are unable to provide a link for a full res DL, i would be willing to pay you for your cost in shipping me the vids provided you can prove it is what it is. i.e. post a low rez copy up on youtube...

been editing since 03, had a few completed vids over the years. Way 2 many uncompleted projects, but getting back into it now that. workin on a vid ATM if i can find someplace to U/L it other than YT i shall and shall inform yea all.

My forum is dead, so dont expect people to help you. All I can say is that the two videos you mentioned have probably been done more than once, just going by the song choices. If you didn't find them by searching on animemusicvideos.org, I don't know what else to tell you.
